Okay, for the holidays, I wanted to do something fun but still veterinary related so here it is. My dog, Sage, was adopted in Maine. She appears to be a lab mix, but I have finally chosen to see what the genetic lab has to say. The results will take about 3 weeks, so I should know by the end of the year. This test will include not only her ancestry, but will also check for over 100 hereditary diseases.

What do you guess?
Update 12/28/17: The testing has been completed! As is typical for my pets, she is a true mutt. She has labrador retriever, possibly some kind of terrier (Wheaton, Jack Russell, other), staffordshire terrier, collie and golden retriever in her lineage!
